April 1, 2020: Liberty Senior Living COVID-19 Update

General Announcements: as of Friday, April 1, 2020

The health and wellbeing of our residents and staff remain our priority as we work through the newest updates regarding the COVID-19 virus.  We continue to follow safety precautions and screening activities for residents and staff members in our community based on recommendations from The Centers for Disease Control and The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Per the recommendations of the CDC and CMS, group activities and community dining have stopped in all communities. Life-enrichment and wellness directors are finding innovative ways to engage residents while adhering to social distancing guidelines. The teams are working hard to preserve the lifestyle and maintain a sense of community while coping with these unprecedented constraints.

The CDC has updated its guidelines with regard to personal protective equipment inside communities. In response to this update, all Liberty Senior Living communities will be following universal mask precautions when in resident/patient care areas. We do not want residents and family members to be alarmed as this is a precautionary measure at this time. The safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff continues to be our priority, and we will continue to monitor and implement CDC guidelines as updates are released.

March 14, 2020: Liberty Senior Living COVID-19 Update

As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread and concerns continue to grow, Liberty Senior Living has decided to take precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our residents, future residents, family members, and staff throughout all our communities. Much about the virus is still unknown, but we do know that the population we serve is at greater risk for the most serious impacts associated with this new strain of virus.

We hold our future and prospective residents and visitors in the same esteem as we do those who are already enjoying the lifestyle of a Liberty Senior Living community. Based upon revised recommendations of The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), The Templeton of Cary will be limiting visitors to the sales office in order to help combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. During this time, we invite you to connect with the sales staff via telephone, email, texts or even through video chats. Taking these precautions are vital to helping us avoid and minimize the possible spread of this virus in the community at large.

We will stay up to date with the latest information from the CMS and CDC. Our top priority is the health and well-being of our residents, visitors, staff and family members. We will continue to work with state and local public health and emergency preparedness officials to protect our residents and the community in which we live.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenge and remain focused on providing exceptional care and services for our visitors, residents and staff. Visit our website at thetempletonofcary.com or contact the sales office at 984-200-3688.
