Swift Creek Welcomes a New Director of Nursing!

We are excited to welcome a new member to our leadership team. Meet Garica Sawyer, our new Director of Nursing! Garica and our Campus Director, Alicia Stewart, previously worked together at The Cypress of Raleigh. As Alicia concentrates her focus on operations at The Templeton and Swift Creek, Garica concentrates on the clinical needs of our residents.
Outside of work, Garica enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with her kids. We are lucky to have her join The Templeton family!

Templeton residents attended the Town of Cary Memorial Day ceremony. An occasion is for us to take the day to reflect the cost of freedom.
Over the weekend, Templeton Residents attended a Memorial Day Remembrance Service at the Town of Cary’s Veteran’s Freedom Park.

Residents at The Templeton celebrated their first Passover Seder as a community. The private dining room was the perfect setting.
The Templeton welcomed Residents’ and staff’s children and grandchildren with 1,000 filled eggs at our second annual Easter Egg Hunt! Along with the eggs and ice cream treats, the Easter Bunny made his annual appearance.

The Leprechauns have once again invaded The Templeton of Cary. Last year the round-up of these pesky green squishy men kept Templeton residents busy searching high and low. The bounty for a retrieved leprechaun is a Lucky Lotto ticket. The Resident who locates the most leprechauns will receive a prize!

The Templeton Residents were enjoyed an afternoon concert by artist Mary Mikels. Mary is a Raleigh native-born. She was born totally blind with hearing loss. Despite the loss of hearing in her left ear, she has perfect pitch. The concert blended several genres. An incredible talent!
