CLEO Kids bridging Generations at The Templeton

At The Templeton, generations come together in a truly meaningful way through the Computer Literacy Education Outreach program, affectionately known as CLEO Kids. Each week, a group of students from Apex High School visits the community to help residents navigate the ever-changing digital world.

Residents bring their devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops, and the students guide them through emails, apps, texting, and voicemail. It’s more than just technology support; it’s a bridge between generations.

“CLEO Kids are patient, kind, and interact wonderfully with the residents,” said Christina Ciaverella, Life Enrichment Director. “Our residents are always delighted to have them here.”

The program not only empowers residents to stay connected with family, friends, and the world online, but also fosters friendships, laughter, and a sense of shared accomplishment, making CLEO Kids a highlight of life at The Templeton.
