Breakfast with Al Riveron!

The Templeton of Cary Men’s Breakfast Club welcomed a very special guest on Friday. Al Riveron, the new Supervisor of Football Officials for the Atlantic Coast Conference. He entertained the men with stories of his experiences as an NFL Referee, as well as ,the NFL’s Senior Vice President of Officiating. Riveron, a native of Cuba, came to the United States at the age of five on a “Freedom Flight” with his mother. His rise in the football officiating ranks is the story of an “American dream”. Al started by officiating Pop Warner Football and rose to the highest ranking in NFL officiating.

The Templeton was also pleased to have local Cary Artist, Jerry Miller at this event. The Templeton’s Art Studio is named after Jerry and he completed many pieces of art for the community’s common areas!
