Many seniors are able to live independently in our retirement community, or with just a little assistance. A resident of assisted living may still drive and lead an active life, while getting help with certain daily activities and challenges.
An integral part of The Templeton of Cary, Swift Creek Health Center offers residential accommodations with individualized assistance for things like administering medication, showering, preparing meals, and dressing in support garments.
Residential choices include studios and one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments. The larger accommodations provide a comfortable option for couples, respecting the desire for married couples to remain together.
The loss of cognitive abilities can result in unsafe situations in the home, as well as fatigue in family members who provide care to the person whose memory is failing.
Swift Creek Health Center within The Templeton offers accommodations with memory support for those who are suffering from Alzheimer’s or other dementia conditions. Our care emphasizes what our residents are able to do, rather than what they can’t.
Here, residents live in a safe environment, celebrating their remaining abilities, while family members gain peace of mind that their loved one is in appropriate surroundings to live their fullest life.
