Residents settled in for an afternoon of romance, drama, unforgettable characters, and a little nostalgia. With Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman on the big screen, it was the perfect opportunity to relax, reminisce, and enjoy one of cinema’s most beloved films. After all, we’ll always have Paris!

What an amazing day at Swift Creek! Our all-day Carnival was filled with games, prizes, delicious treats, laughter, and lots of friendly competition! 🎟️🍿
The best part was having our families join us for the fun. Seeing our residents surrounded by loved ones, laughing, playing, and making memories together made the day extra special. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Carnival Day such a wonderful success. We played hard, laughed a lot, and made some unforgettable memories!

Science Olympiad! 🧪
Our residents participated in an exciting Science Olympiad facilitated by NC State, exploring hands‑on experiments, teamwork, and plenty of scientific fun.
They designed and built barges for the Ship Shape Challenge, testing how much cargo their creations could hold before sinking while learning about buoyancy, displacement, and Archimedes’ principle. Residents also enjoyed Boo Bubbles, creating fog‑filled bubbles with dry ice to explore gas density, surface tension, and states of matter.
To top it off, teams jumped into Science Sketchers, a lively drawing‑and‑guessing trivia game featuring scientific terms and concepts. Everyone did a fantastic job and had a ton of fun working together!
