Stirring Up Something Special at The Templeton
At The Templeton, great dining is more than a daily pleasure. It is an experience. One of the most popular ways residents savor that experience is through the community’s Teaching Kitchen.
Led by Chef Mike, the hands-on sessions invite independent residents to roll up their sleeves and cook alongside a pro. Participants follow along step-by-step, learning new techniques, kitchen tips, and creative twists that elevate everyday recipes. Last month’s featured treat was a batch of flaky, golden apple turnovers that tasted as impressive as they looked.
And here is the sweetest part. After the lesson wraps, Chef Mike bakes the creations to perfection. Later in the day, residents stop by to pick up their freshly baked treats, ready to share with friends or enjoy with a cup of coffee.
It is delicious, educational, and wonderfully social. No wonder they love it.
