Veterans Honored Here Today!

Veterans Day was celebrated in a big way at The Templeton of Cary!
A flag display adorned the front portico of the building. Posters inside the lobby and dining room honored our 40 veterans . These veterans represent every branch of the armed services. Every veteran’s apartment door was decorated with “A Hero Lives Here” sign . In addition, spouses of active duty former veterans received door placards acknowledging their service as well. All veterans received a personal card from Team Templeton. It also included a special veteran pin and all Residents and staff members wore American Flag pins.
The Templeton’s “famous” Ding Dong Cart made its rounds during the afternoon delivering cakes to each Veteran’s apartment and finally the entire community gathered in Crossroads Pub for a special Veterans Day Happy Hour with live music. It was a great day to honor our Veterans!
