We’re Number One!

The Liberty Games championship trophy now sits proudly in the lobby of The Templeton of Cary. Team Templeton brought home first place in the 2nd Annual Liberty Games. The Games featured competitors from 8 Liberty Senior Living communities. Team Templeton scored 114 total points with Carolina Bay in second place with 89 points while Wellington Bay placed third with 72 points.
Templeton was the only community to have Residents compete in all 16 events. The Games were held in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina at the South Bay at Mount Pleasant. Team Templeton was represented by Residents: Sharon Barnes, Jane Bartlett, Penny Booth, Joan Burns, Jan Charlton, Durant Cogger, Ellen Fox, Billy Griffin, Carolyn Osmun, Judy Philippi, Jim Rowley, Tim Sack and Witold Urbanowitz. Wellness Director Kathy Lawrence coached the team and Executive Director Krista Lemery and Life Enrichment Director Joyce Aschenbrenner attended.
