Ben Owens III Potter Demonstration

Templeton Residents enjoyed a trip to Seagrove, North Carolina. They were thrilled to meet nationally renowned potter Ben Owen III. Owen’s ancestors have had North Carolina clay on their hands since colonial times. Owen demonstrated for the group how he creates some of the most memorable pottery in the country and entertained with stories of his ancestors and the history of pottery making in North Carolina. The group also enjoyed lunch at a local diner and shopping for North Carolina pottery at a local gallery.
