The Templeton welcomed Residents’ and staff’s children and grandchildren with 1,000 filled eggs at our second annual Easter Egg Hunt! Along with the eggs and ice cream treats, the Easter Bunny made his annual appearance.

The Leprechauns have once again invaded The Templeton of Cary. Last year the round-up of these pesky green squishy men kept Templeton residents busy searching high and low. The bounty for a retrieved leprechaun is a Lucky Lotto ticket. The Resident who locates the most leprechauns will receive a prize!

The Templeton Residents were enjoyed an afternoon concert by artist Mary Mikels. Mary is a Raleigh native-born. She was born totally blind with hearing loss. Despite the loss of hearing in her left ear, she has perfect pitch. The concert blended several genres. An incredible talent! Sleigh bells were ringing and carolers singing! Residents and their guests enjoyed an afternoon of fun! Everyone was serenaded by Holiday Carolers. Refreshments were served as they board the carriages. Oh What Fun we have at The Templeton!

For the second-consecutive year, the train is once again chugging. It circles around the annual Grandchildren’s Holiday Tree. The Templeton of Cary’s residents created ornaments with photographs of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The ornaments adorn the holiday tree located on the second-floor balcony.
